Ana, I’m digging the features in CommentLuv premium. I didn’t even know they released it. Thanks for giving back to the community and teaching us newbies.

Ana Hoffman February 4, 2012 at 1:08 pm

It’s a great plugin.

Ana

Thank you for your thorough overview. Whilst some of it still baffles me, I got the gist! I just logged into my new(ish) working mums wordpress site and there was an advert about commentluv premium. I clicked through and watched the video, but remembered having see an email from you about it. Even though I hadn’t read it at the time, I came to your site and have just bought CL Premium through your link here. There’s reciprocity, social proof and general reader loyalty in action I guess. Thanks again for all your advice.

Ana Hoffman November 23, 2011 at 6:50 pm

I hope you’ll get as much out of it as I and so many other bloggers did, Amanda.

Thanks for the purchase!

Astro Gremlin November 18, 2011 at 10:47 pm

I have CommentLuv Premium and believe everyone should have it. It makes commenting fun! And CL has terrific support for beginners. Do not hesitate!

Ana,

If don’t have CommentLuv Premium is the basic version still worth installing?

Thanks,

Ryan H.

Ana Hoffman November 17, 2011 at 8:55 pm

Definitely is, Ryan – it won’t give you, the blogger, as many benefits, but your readers will still love it.

Hi Ana

I don’t hope that it is too late to join. I have added the code to my latest post: http://www.techwork.dk/smartphones/5-cool-apps-for-your-windows-phone-7-5-mango
I would really love to win this plugin, it is great and I know that Andy have put a lot of work in to it. Great idea to ask people to click on Google+ to be able to select for their latest 10 posts.

Ana Hoffman November 12, 2011 at 8:43 am

Not too late at all, Thomas – the plugin is still in prelaunch and I’ll announce the winner as soon as it’s released.

Salah Messaoud October 25, 2011 at 4:07 am

I am checking your blog regularly I hope I don’t miss the next giveaway

syerodriguez October 24, 2011 at 11:25 pm

I don’t understand everything about how comment luv works. I read your whole article but I’m new to the idea of wanting comments on my blog, as a result of getting a lot of spam and thinking I would loose power from links to other websites on my blog. What exactly is the google +1 show 10 posts? Who’s posts are they?
Thanks for all of your helpful information including the Big G PDF. I hope that makes sense.

Ana Hoffman October 25, 2011 at 4:53 am

Everyone gets spam, but by writing good content, you will receive valid comments too. It shows that people value what you write and they will share and buy whatever you sell.

Google+1 is like Facebook’s like button. Please use my site’s search function to learn more about it.

The 10 posts are related to CommentLuv and they are your posts. I have written many posts on this too, explaining exactly how it works. Please again search for those posts.

I hope this helps.

Thomas October 8, 2011 at 2:10 pm

Good rundown on the plugin, Ana. This may not apply to your particular blog, or perhaps doesn’t apply to it now, but have you found that having commentluv brings other commentluvers in? In other words, does your site get discovered by others who are also using commentluv or is this something you had to facilitate — and then the other commentluvers started to come in? I hope I’m being coherent in presenting the question. Thanks.

Ana Hoffman October 9, 2011 at 11:22 am

You are coherent, Thomas and yes, that’s one of the many ways in which it works very well.
